چکیده مقاله:

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly gaining momentum in modern healthcare, particularly in diagnostics and clinical decision-making. This study investigates the perceptions of ۴۲ medical students regarding the integration of AI in medicine. Using a structured electronic questionnaire consisting of five Likert-scale items—focusing on familiarity, usefulness, diagnostic ability, job replacement concerns, and willingness to adopt AI—participants’ attitudes were quantitatively assessed. Descriptive results indicated strong belief in AI’s usefulness (mean = ۴.۵۰), while willingness to use AI clinically was moderate (mean = ۲.۸۱). An inverse association was found between familiarity with AI and fear of job replacement, suggesting that increased exposure reduces anxiety. Internal consistency of the scale was acceptable (Cronbach’s alpha = ۰.۷۲۴), and exploratory factor analysis identified a single underlying dimension reflecting general attitude toward AI. Most respondents expressed trust in physicians over AI when conflicts arose and identified lack of empathy and legal ambiguity as major concerns. These findings emphasize the need for structured AI education in medical curricula to foster informed, confident engagement with AI tools in clinical settings.
