چکیده مقاله:

The deepening global climate crisis has become one of the greatest challenges of the ۲۱st century, calling for instant and unified action at the international level. The article addresses the role played by international environmental laws in addressing and controlling global climate crises. By analyzing the key legal instruments of the Paris Agreement, Kyoto Protocol, and United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the study determines the strengths, in addition to the weaknesses, of these instruments in advancing international cooperation. The implications are that while international environmental laws provide a forum for multilateral action, their effectiveness is consistently compromised by weak enforcement mechanisms, geopolitical tensions, and economic disparities. The paper concludes with suggestions for enhancing international legal frameworks and their enforcement through increased accountability and inclusiveness.
