Predicting treatment adherence based on perceived stress in patients with hypertension

The aim of the present study was to predict treatment adherence based on perceived stress in patients with high blood pressure. The statistical population of this study included all patients with high blood pressure referred to the Kalaleh County Health Center in ۱۴۰۳ and ۱۴۰۴, of which ۲۵۰ people were selected using the convenience sampling method. The tools used in the study were: Treatment Adherence Questionnaire (Modanloo, ۲۰۱۳), Perceived Stress Questionnaire (Cohen, ۱۹۸۳). Pearson correlation analysis and stepwise regression were used to analyze the data obtained. The results showed that perceived stress had a significant role in predicting treatment adherence in patients with high blood pressure.
