چکیده مقاله:

The increasing integration of renewable energy sources into power systems has become a key factor in the global transition toward sustainable and low-carbon energy. Large-scale renewable power plants play a significant role in meeting the growing energy demand while reducing greenhouse gas emissions. However, the variable and intermittent nature of these resources presents numerous technical, economic, and operational challenges to the stability, reliability, and efficiency of modern power systems. This paper provides a comprehensive review of the main challenges associated with high penetration of renewable energy, including grid stability, frequency regulation, energy storage, and infrastructure limitations. It also examines the solutions and technologies to address these challenges, such as smart grid development, advanced forecasting techniques, flexible generation, and energy storage systems. The findings of this study can contribute to the development of more resilient and adaptive power systems capable of accommodating a high share of renewable energy.
