Introducing geomorphosites of Kurdistan with emphasis on their management model

Geotourism is a branch of ecotourism that deals with the topic of tourism by relying on geomorphological and geological phenomena of the earth's surface. This type of tourism, which is considered a branch of natural areas tourism and sustainable tourism, which emphasizes on geosites and geomorphological perspectives. Through proper planning and management and recognition of advantages and limitations, it can play an important role in National development and diversification of the regional economy. Geomorphosites are geomorphological landforms that have acquired scientific, cultural, historical, aesthetic or social, economic value due to human understanding or exploitation, the present research aims to investigate and classify the geomorphosites of Kurdistan with an emphasis on their management model. collected, the research method is based on library and field studies and its results show By managing and protecting against the vulnerability of geographical heritage, the level of vulnerability of geological values can be controlled or reduced with managerial interventions, and the protection of geographical heritage can be achieved at three physical, functional and visual levels.
