چکیده مقاله:
The architect has always depended on his tools to show his ideas and design documents, and the tool has always been the main indicator of this profession. Looking back and through the industrial revolutions, we can see that the tools and methods of architecture have always been influenced by these changes and new technologies. In the current state of contemporary architecture, the use of computers as a tool in the design process has been accepted among architects and designers for more than three decades. Now some architects also use past information and data processed by computers to design their architecture, but many architects still remain in the past and follow time-consuming and inefficient processes. Of course, the growth of technology has in practice led to the architectural design process becoming more complex, this complexity has created new challenges and due to the huge volume of documented data that is produced due to the construction process. Architects are usually faced with a large amount of data to process in the early stages of design, including analysis of the physical environment, user needs, functional requirements, previous case studies, legal codes, etc., all of which must be processed. Also, many of the traditional computer-aided design tools used today are not able to meet the needs of contemporary architectural design and processing this data. Here, artificial intelligence is able to improve the current situation and can provide the desired situation in the role of an assistant with major support to deal with all this data that may be very difficult to process without computational technologies, which, as a result, is positively reflected in the design process by reducing the time required for the design initiation phase. The aim of this research is to demonstrate the potential of artificial intelligence in the conceptualization stages of architectural design and to present the strengths and weaknesses of all three introduced artificial intelligence platforms in terms of design.
