This research presents the conceptual design process of a regional turboprop aircraft, emphasizing weight and performance sizing. The study involves defining mission profiles, estimating weight fractions, and analyzing aerodynamic and propulsion parameters to determine an optimal design. Through iterative calculations, the aircraft's takeoff weight, fuel consumption, and performance characteristics are evaluated to ensure feasibility and efficiency. The design is specifically intended for regional operations in Iran, with Tehran serving as the central hub, optimizing routes and operational capabilities for domestic air travel. The results provide a preliminary design framework suitable for further detailed development and optimization.
