Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) are made of a large number of nodes with limited energy. These nodes are distributed in a geographic area and scan their surroundings. One of the important challenges of WSN is energy consumption and the major part of it is related to transmission. Using energy harvesting sensor nodes is taken into consideration, because they can get energy from renewable energy resources such as sunlight, wind, and so on. Due to energy harvesting in these networks, maximize the performance is one of the most important issues. Also, clustering is one of the main methods for improving performance. In this paper a new clustering method is proposed for energy harvesting WSN. In the proposed method, clustering is done as a distributed manner and based on energy status, the amount of energy harvesting and delay of each node. Nodes with better energy status have higher chance to be selected as Cluster Head (CH) and also have lower delay, so they will be selected as CH. Multi-hub transmission is used for data transmission. Simulation results show that the proposed method could improve network stability and performance.
