چکیده مقاله:
In the Pelton turbine, the energy of the water is transferred to the turbine through a fluid jet. This type of turbine is the most suitable for high head and low flow rate applications. In this paper, the occurrence of cavitation in a blade of a Pelton turbine, when the blade angle relative to the fluid jet is ۱۰۵ degrees, is investigated numerically. The AVLFire software has been used to simulate the topic under investigation and the possibility of cavitation occurrence in a Pelton turbine blade, which has an angle of ۱۰۵ degrees relative to the fluid jet direction, is discussed.
