بررسی تطبیقی قوانین رقابت در ایران و اتحادیه اروپا: با تاکید بر انحصارات دیجیتال

This thesis presents a comparative examination of competition legislation in Iran and the European Union, with a special emphasis on the regulation of digital monopolies. It starts by highlighting the importance of competition law in limiting market power and tackling the issues posed by the increasing presence of digital monopolies. My findings indicate that although both jurisdictions aim to regulate these monopolies, their mechanisms for enforcement and policy emphases differ significantly. An overview of the historical frameworks governing competition law in both regions is provided, analyzing crucial statutes and regulatory entities. By scrutinizing the regulatory difficulties faced by Iran in the digital sphere against the EU's comprehensive legal instruments and enforcement methods, I identify both commonalities and distinctions in their strategies. The implications of these findings underscore the necessity for improved cooperation and potential advancements in competition law frameworks to effectively navigate the intricacies of the digital economy.
