چکیده مقاله:

In this study, two nickel-based metal–organic frameworks (Ni-MOF and Ni-MOF-CTAB) were synthesized via a solvent-assisted grinding method followed by solvothermal treatment. The synthesis of Ni-MOF was carried out using nickel nitrate and trimesic acid, while the Ni-MOF-CTAB variant included cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) as a structure-directing agent. The physicochemical properties of the products were thoroughly characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA/DTG), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). XRD analysis revealed that the presence of CTAB induced a structural transformation from a cubic to a hexagonal crystalline phase and increased the average crystallite size. Optical studies confirmed that both samples exhibited multiple absorption bands with distinct bandgap values, reflecting their semiconducting nature and electronic structure diversity. Thermal analyses demonstrated improved thermal stability in the Ni-MOF sample. Overall, this work highlights the influence of CTAB on the structural, surface, optical, and thermal characteristics of Ni-MOFs, providing valuable insights for future applications in catalysis and energy-related fields. Keywords:
