A New Approach To Evaluating Cryptocurrency

This study aimed to analyze Shiba Inu and Dogecoin websites using webometric methods and tools. In this study, a new approach was introduced to evaluate cryptocurrencies. The present type of research was applied using webometric methods and tools with an analytical-comparative approach. Google Trends, Alexa, and SEMrush were used to analyze cryptocurrency websites. This article also covered organic search traffic, backlinks, and authority scores. Data analysis showed that most Shiba Inu and Dogecoin audiences’ geographical distribution were from the United States and the United Kingdom. The Shiba Inu and Dogecoin websites also received ۷۲۰۰ and ۱,۱۰۰,۰۰۰ backlinks, respectively. Furthermore, a review of the average visit duration index also showed that users visited the Shiba Inu website for an average of ۲۷:۰۴ and the Dogecoin website for ۰۶:۳۴. Thus, despite the Age Index of the Shiba Inu website compared to its competitor Dogecoin, this website has more public attention than Dogecoin. Furthermore, given the importance and place of cryptocurrencies in the world of electronic financial exchanges, it is necessary that their websites, which are for financial and monetary exchanges, use webometric tools and indicators to publish accurate and quantitative results, and make them available to monetary and financial macro enthusiasts and policymakers.
