چکیده مقاله:

Graphene oxide (GO) is a promising material for nanofiltration membranes in water purification due to its unique properties and immense potential. However, a significant challenge in realizing the full potential of GO membranes lies in achieving the optimal balance between stability and permeability for efficient separation of aqueous molecules and ions. In this study, polyethersulfone (PES) membrane was fabricated using non-solvent induced phase separation (NIPS). Subsequently, a polydopamine (PDA) coating was applied to the membrane surface at pH ۸.۵. The influence of PDA addition on the performance and stability of GO membranes was systematically investigated. Finally, GO was coated onto the membranes via pressure filtration. The morphology, structure, hydrophilicity, permeation flux, and Na₂SO₄ rejection of PES, PES/PDA, and PES/PDA/GO membranes were comprehensively analyzed. Under optimal preparation conditions, the PES/PDA/GO membrane demonstrated a satisfactory water flux and a good rejection rate of ۶۴% for Na₂SO₄.
