چکیده مقاله:
The development of the digital economy is one of the prominent manifestations of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, with e-commerce being a significant aspect of it. This research aims to examine the status of e-commerce in Iran from ۲۰۱۸ to ۲۰۲۳. The study is applied in nature and descriptive in terms of its characteristics, employing a qualitative approach through content analysis. Data were collected from primary and secondary sources, including documents, interview-based reports, books, and supplementary surveys. The analysis results are presented through three indicators: e-commerce infrastructure, e-commerce performance, and demographics and methods of e-commerce. The findings indicate that the advancement of e-commerce, the digital economy, and the transition towards the fourth generation can be achieved through comprehensive participation from both the public and officials. The emergence and growth of private companies in the field of e-commerce by the populace are considered indicators of government success.
