This study explores how advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools can transform an international freight company, enhancing its operations while contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). From the survey conducted with ۴۲ staff members from ۷ different departments, it was possible to understand the perception that employees with various tasks and levels of education have about AI, as well as their willingness to undergo training in this field and the barriers they encounter in the process of implementing it. The findings reveal AI’s potential to streamline processes, cut waste, and foster innovation, aligning with SDGs like Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG ۸), Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure (SDG ۹), and Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG ۱۲). Some departments like IT and strategic planning viewed the change very positively while finance and customer service showed concerns about costs and job security. The study emphasizes the importance of designed training programs and a thoughtful, human-centered approach to ensure everyone benefits from AI adoption. By effectively integrating these tools, logistics companies can improve their operations while also taking meaningful steps toward a sustainable future.
