چکیده مقاله:

This study investigates the role of travel applications in enhancing religious tourism marketing in Mashhad, Iran, utilizing the Delphi method. Key factors identified include comprehensive information dissemination, personalized services, online booking capabilities, multilingual content, and interactive experiences. Experts highlighted precise information delivery, user-friendliness, and time management for pilgrims as critical features, with statistical analysis confirming a moderate to high level of consensus among panel members. The findings underscore the potential of travel applications to attract international pilgrims and enhance their satisfaction through advanced functionalities such as multilingual support and secure booking systems. The study recommends integrating artificial intelligence, upgrading digital infrastructure, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders to bolster Mashhad’s competitiveness and promote sustainable tourism development.
