Generally during recent decades due to development of deregulation in power industry and competition in power market, the most important objects of power companies, consists of reducing costs of network exploitation and improving network technical parameters. One of the most effective methods for obtaining these objects and responding to load growth, is utilization of distribution generation sources. Therefore optimal siting and sizing of disperse generation becomes an important concern. There are different methods for doing this. On the other hand this work can be done by considering different limitations. In this paper the economic optimum siting and sizing of distribution generation has been studied based on nodal pricing for obtaining maximum benefits in terms of more profitability , reducing power loss and improving voltage profiles by assuming short circuit level on Khodabandelu distributed network in Tehran. determining the level of short circuit is done by DIgSILENT software and for determining other cases of simulation the MATLAB software is used. Distribution generation sources Setup in distribution networks causes the rise of voltage and short circuit level. These restrictions are also assumed in this paper.
