Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide, emphasizing the importance of early diagnosis for better patient outcomes. Artificial intelligence (AI) is being increasingly utilized for cancer diagnosis through machine learning algorithms that can analyse vast amounts of data efficiently and accurately. While AI has the potential to revolutionize cancer detection, it also faces challenges such as the need for extensive data, technological constraints, and ethical considerations. Understanding the capabilities and limitations of AI in cancer detection, along with current applications and future possibilities, is essential for improving patient outcomes and reducing cancer mortality rates. AI and machine learning have made a significant impact on healthcare, particularly in oncology, where early diagnosis and identification of drug resistance mechanisms are crucial for effective treatment strategies
