چکیده مقاله:

The main aim of this study, is to evaluate the seismic reliability of steel Special ConcentricallyBraced Frame structures designed in Iran under seismic load combination. A reliability-based design,to quantitatively solve the safety problems in structural engineering, have developing a criterion forsteel SCBF design practice in Iran. The stories drift angle are defined as failure modes in eachperformance levels of seismic hazard. The steel SCBF systems in Iran are evaluated and the reliabilitylevels of associated seismic risk are quantified. Reliability analyses have been using by RTx programto be considering uncertainties and OpenSees to be modeling nonlinearity of structures. The resultsrevealed that probability of failure are smaller than the targets set by the original standards the Iraniancode has adopted from, which exposes the notable lack of safety in the ensuing designs
