In a world marked by violence and cruelty, where cultural callousness is evident, the universal artof literature may hold the key to restoring peace and improving cultural bounds. Through its richnarratives and diverse voices, literature brings hope and opens a window into various cultures andhistorical contexts. Literature may serve as a door to cultural correlations and understandings andis a key element in peacebuilding efforts. Works such as Ibrahim Abdel Meguid’s “No One Sleepsin Alexandria” highlights the impact of a global war and its devastating effects on other nations,resulting in chaos within countries, as well as demonstrating the significant role of sharing inpeacebuilding. By reading Khaled Hosseini’s “A Thousand Splendid Suns”, we understand howliterature not only observe societal values but also evokes empathy and inspirers mutualunderstandings which leads to a more harmonious world and brings peace and forgiveness. Beingaffected by turmoil and chaos, writers are doing their utmost to apply new techniques to underscorethe significance and value of cultural correlations and post-war reconciliations in societies and tobring peace in a world full of unrest. Literature’s history is full of masters who devoted their lifeto make it “A Thing of Beauty” forever. This study aims to evaluate and shed light on therelationship between literature and the concept of peace, as well as the cultural correlations, witha specific focus on West Asian literature.
