Introduction: In recent years, following the evolution of educational technologies, the use of e-learning has expanded in educational systems. The complex nature of the medical field, along with the large volume and speed of information growth in this field, has made the use of various technologies to help improve the teaching-learning process in this field inevitable. Considering that clinical education is the basic and important part of medical education and it is in this type of education that the student uses his theoretical concepts and information in the form of practical skills in interaction with his instructor and the clinical environment. Therefore, the aim of study is Design and evaluation of clinical training software for medical students.Method: This study is semi-experimental. The research population included all internship and internship students. Considering the confidence factor of ۹۵% and the error percentage of ۲.۳, the sample size was at least ۶۰ in each group and ۱۲۰ people in the whole study. The general content of the mentioned application was such that in this application, the student can find the title of the procedure, drug and anything that he needs but has forgotten or does not know in the search section and get quick access to informative materials. In this application, in addition to clinical procedures and drugs, other topics such as the interpretation of tests and physical examinations that a clinical students should know were discussed.Results: most of the studied samples told the teacher that the use of the software has helped a lot in learning new material. The types of skills that were investigated in this study include: suction, sounding and inserting a gastric tube. The intervention group had a higher mean score in all skills than the control group after training with the software.Conclusion: The majority of students stated that the software met their information needs regarding the correct methods of performing procedures. It is also confirmed that the researchers concluded that learning with an application has a beneficial effect on clinical education for Medical Sciences students compared to conventional methods.
