چکیده مقاله:

The rapid expansion of the Internet of Things (IoT) has revolutionized various sectors, creating interconnectedsystems that significantly enhance efficiency and convenience. However, this growth has also introducedsubstantial security vulnerabilities, making IoT ecosystems attractive targets for cyber threats. This paper providesa detailed review of the current security challenges in IoT, with a focus on critical areas such as authenticationmechanisms, vulnerability assessment methodologies, and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) andmachine learning in threat detection. The unique security challenges posed by edge computing and the importanceof privacy-preserving techniques for secure data sharing are also examined. Additionally, the paper explores thecomplexities of securing IoT supply chains and highlights the significance of compliance with existingregulations and standards. It emphasizes the need for a collaborative approach involving academia, industry, andgovernment to develop effective security strategies that address the diverse and evolving threats to IoTenvironments. By synthesizing the latest research and identifying gaps that require further investigation, thispaper aims to contribute to the ongoing efforts to enhance the resilience and security of smart networkecosystems, ensuring their safe and reliable operation in the future.
