Analysis of the Communication Role of Sports Management among Managers of Government Organizations

چکیده مقاله:
Communication roles are roles in which the main task of the manager is to communicate with other people in a specific way. However, the process of communication between managers and between middle managers and senior managers is equally important. Also, employee communication is a continuous process and requires skill in sending and receiving messages. The term communication is described as the concept of transferring information from one person to another and understanding it. The aim of the current research is to analyze the communication role of sports management among managers of government organizations. The statistical population of this research was the sports managers of Mashhad education departments. In this research, a researcher-made questionnaire was used, the validity and reliability of which was confirmed by sports experts and its Cronbach's alpha is ۰.۸۸. Effective managers choose their communication methods based on careful analysis of environmental factors. It depends on the specific task and goals of the manager. The results of the research showed that in the spoken communication method, the person who is addressed by the management quickly becomes aware of the message sent. Also, in the method of telephone communication, sports managers use this method for immediate control, transfer or obtaining information, warning or notification. Written communication is also used by sports managers to correct past written communication. In relation to this issue, the results showed that verbal communication entails the risk of forgetting the message, sometimes the management message is misunderstood or remembered and is not conveyed to all employees. According to the mentioned contents, the communication role of sports management can be useful in synergizing the organization's employees, and choosing the appropriate communication method may prevent possible tensions in the organization. Therefore, it is suggested that sports managers master the process of communication and its components, the ways of creating communication and its types, the types of communication in the organization, the methods of improving communication and identifying and removing communication barriers and take steps towards the progress of their organization.
