This article presents an innovative approach to optimizing hospital air conditioning systems through artificial intelligence (AI) to minimize virus transmission in isolation rooms. With the increasing concern over airborne diseases, traditional HVAC systems in hospitals are under scrutiny for their role in spreading contaminants. Our research introduces a smart HVAC control system that leverages AI algorithms to dynamically adjust airflows, temperatures, and filtration rates based on real-time data analysis of the indoor environment, occupancy, and external weather conditions.By integrating sensors and IoT devices, the system continuously monitors air quality and detects the presence of airborne pathogens. AI models predict potential transmission risks and adjust the HVAC settings to ensure optimal air quality, focusing on isolated areas without compromising the comfort of patients and staff. This adaptive control strategy significantly enhances the effectiveness of air purification and disinfection processes, thereby reducing the risk of virus spread.The implementation of this AI-driven system in a hospital environment demonstrated a noticeable improvement in air quality and a decrease in the concentration of airborne pathogens in isolation rooms. The study underscores the importance of smart HVAC systems in public health protection, especially in critical settings like hospitals. Furthermore, it highlights the potential of AI in transforming building management systems to create safer indoor environments. This research contributes to the ongoing efforts to combat airborne transmission of diseases, offering a scalable and efficient solution for healthcare facilities worldwide.
