In Situ Generation of ۱,۱-(Dithiolate) Anions as Key Intermediates in the Synthesis of Sulfur-Containing Hybrid Compounds

In this study, we present an efficient one-pot synthesis approach for creating hybridcompounds that combine pyrazolones and sulfur-containing heterocycles. These hybrids result fromreactions involving in situ generated ۱,۱-dithiolate anions, which form when pyrazolones react with carbondisulfide, and diverse difunctional electrophiles. Additionally, our examination explores the structural attributesof these newly synthesized compounds
