Eco-friendly glutamic acid crosslinked chitosan biocomposites with poly(vinyl alcohol)/poly(vinylpyrrolidone) were synthesized and tested to optimize the tensile strength and flexibility through compositiontuning. Varying the ratios of modified chitosan, PVA/PVP, and benign crosslinker allowed custom tailoring ofmechanical properties for the diverse applications
