چکیده مقاله:

It is necessary to improve energy efficiency in buildings. Among all building services, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems are significantly responsible for building energy consumption. Therefore, improving ventilation systems plays an important role not only in increasing energy efficiency in buildings, but also in providing better indoor climate for residents and reducing the possibility of health problems as a result. In recent decades, many energy-efficient ventilation methods have been developed by researchers to reduce energy consumption in buildings. This article examines scientific research and reports as well as building regulations and standards. In addition to energy efficient methods such as natural and combined ventilation strategies, occupants' ventilation behaviors can also affect energy demand in buildings. Therefore, it is concluded that many factors should be considered to design healthy and energy-efficient ventilation systems. In addition, it should be noted that the use of hybrid ventilation in buildings with appropriate control strategies to adjust between mechanical and natural ventilation leads to significant savings in appropriate energy consumption.
