چکیده مقاله:
Introduction: In modern midwifery, blood pressure disorders of pregnancy are a wide range of disorders, which include slight increase in blood pressure to severe hypertension along with improper functioning of various organs. Blood pressure disorders, along with infection and bleeding, are considered as the triad of death during pregnancy worldwide. Its fetal complications include intrauterine growth restriction, premature delivery, and fetal death (۱). Self-care is a behavior that preserves a person's life, health, and recovery. (۲) Distance education and counseling is possible using communication tools such as videos, internet, and telephone, among the communication tools used in education and counseling. From a distance, the telephone as a device that is available to the majority of people in society (۳). Therefore, the current study aims to investigate the effect of education through mobile phone software on self-care of pregnant women with a history of preeclampsia.Methodology: Data collection was done by searching Scopus, Science Direct, Magiran, Elsevier and Google Scholar and PubMed search engines. A total of ۱۳ articles were found, of which ۸ were analyzed.Results: The analysis of the data from the reviewed articles showed that the self-care score of pregnant mothers had increased significantly compared to before the start of the intervention. In fact, training on the mobile phone platform has been associated with improving the self-care of pregnant mothers.Discussion and conclusion: The results showed that education through mobile phones and software such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and Instagram helped improve the self-care of mothers with a history of preeclampsia. The use of SMS, images and educational videos using mobile phones can be an effective way to increase the mother's awareness in self-care to minimize the possibility of pre-eclampsia and its complications. In addition to all the benefits mentioned, it reduces the need for frequent visits of mothers to health centers and doctors' offices, which also helps the family's economy.
