چکیده مقاله:

Electrodynamic vibration energy harvesters take advantage of mechanisms converting external environmental vibrations into relative movements between magnets and electrical conductors. Energy conversion is realized based on the alteration of magnetic flux in a coil. Purposely, internal movements of an electric potential (voltage) in the form of electromotive force (emf) are induced in the coil conductors. This occurrence is known in the research literature as Faraday's law of induction. As soon as the conductors are connected to an external load, the electric load flows, and the energy is supplied by the harvester. This current leads to the excitation of a mechanical reaction force, which is described by the Lorentz force acting on the current-carrying wire. Essentially, electrodynamic transduction can afford extreme flexibility for vibration energy harvester design. Numerous architectures based on resonant or non-resonant methods have the condition of applying time-dependent changes to the magnetic flux inside a coil. This makes it possible to design structures with different sizes, shapes, and factors.
