Bukhara is a historical city in Uzbekistan, boasting nearly ۷۰۰ heritage buildings dating back over two thousand years. It has been a significant economic and cultural center in Central Asia, playing a vital role in Islamic culture for centuries. The rebuilt castle has been the center of Bukhara since its early days. Tourists frequently visit landmarks such as the Inn Palace, Hazrat Eyup Fountain, Ismail Samani Tomb, Ulugh Beg Madrasa, Minare-i Kelan, Pay-i Kelan, and Mir Arap Madrasa. Bukhara was awarded by UNESCO in ۱۹۹۳ and included in the World Heritage List. However, the technical measures for heritage protection and monitoring require further improvement. Contemporary buildings and new constructions threaten the historical texture, and the Lyabi Khauz complex needs to be renewed for better tourist experience while preserving the history. Bukhara's heritage requires further efforts to protect and preserve it. Technical measures used for the protection and monitoring of cultural heritage further improvement is required. Overall, the research provides a new perspective on the importance of cultural heritage in Bukhara and proposes practical solutions for its preservation and promotion.
