Skill-based assignments and its role in increasing students' practical skills

چکیده مقاله:

The use of skill-based assignments by teachers and its role in increasing students' practical skills has been emphasized by the country's education authorities for several years. The purpose of this research was to survey and examine teachers' views on the role of skill-oriented assignments in the sixth grade of Persian, mathematics, and science subjects in the second year of elementary school, in increasing students' practical skills related to these assignments. The research was conducted in a descriptive and survey method. From the statistical population of sixth grade elementary teachers in Najaf Abad in the academic year of ۱۴۰۰-۱۴۰۱, ۱۲۷ of the teachers of the above statistical population responded to the questions of the questionnaire using available sampling method. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire, whose content validity was confirmed and its reliability was obtained and confirmed by calculating Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The obtained results showed that from the teachers' point of view, skill-oriented assignments in three Persian subjects (t=۴۷.۳۰(, mathematics (t=۵۶.۳۲) and science (t=۴۶.۳۹) plays a role in increasing students' practical skills in these three lessons to a large extent and more than the average. Based on the obtained results, it is suggested that skill-oriented assignments should be placed at a desirable and acceptable level in the curriculum of the students of the first and second years of elementary school.
