Application of Au@ZIF-۸ in reduction reactionsbased on response surface modeling (RSM)

چکیده مقاله:

Due to the increasing growth of industrial processes, nitro compounds such as۴-nitrophenol (۴NP) are a serious threat to aquatic organisms, animals and humans.۴-Nitrophenol is specifically distributed in wastes discharged from various industriessuch as pesticides, oil, paint and chemical industries and due to its excellent solubilityin Water, sustainability in the environment and negative effects on human health areclassified as priority pollutants. In this research, monometallic zeolite-imidazole zincframework containing gold nanoparticles (Au@ZIF-۸) was used for the hydrogenationof para-nitrophenol, which was prepared by incubation method at room temperature.The synthesized sample was identified by FT-IR, XRD,FE-SEM and BET, showed aregular structure and an impressive surface area. Investigating the role of thesynthesized catalyst in the reduction of ۴NP showed an approximate conversionpercentage of ۹۷ in a period of ۳ minutes using the results obtained from ultravioletvisiblespectroscopy.
