Evaluation of CD۴۴ expression in placental tissue in patients with preeclampsia using immunohistochemistry

In this study, the level of CD۴۴ expression was investigated in pairs of pre-eclampsia patients and a control group. The study was conducted on ۳۰ pregnant mothers who were diagnosed with mild or severe pre-eclampsia were admitted to one of teaching hospitals in Mashhad. The placenta tissue samples of the patients were analyzed for CD۴۴ factor expression by immunohistochemistry Mouse monoclonal anti-CD۴۴ antibody was used as primary antibody and human anti-CD۴۴ antibody was used as secondary antibody. The average staining intensity of CD۴۴ protein in pre-eclampsia and control groups was investigated, and the amount of staining was higher in the pre-eclampsia group and this difference was statistically significant. The level of CD۴۴ in pregnant mothers with preeclampsia was significantly different compared to the control group
