چکیده مقاله:
Toxic heavy metals in water, non-biodegradable and hazardous even at low levels, pose environmentalchallenges. Industries like plastics, mining, and textiles, especially zinc usage, worsen the issue. Solutionslike adsorption and chemical precipitation tackle heavy metal contamination, with cost-effective and simplechemical precipitation gaining prominence. Epoxy resins (EPs) are widely used but face fire safetylimitations. Flame retardants like metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have emerged due to their structuralversatility. MOFs’ interaction with polymers enhances flame resistance. While imidazole-based MOFshave been explored, this study focuses on adenine, offering diverse coordination sites. The study introducesa novel bioMOF for fire hazard reduction in EP. Adenine-driven bioMOF’s interaction with zinc ionswas explored, followed by its incorporation into EP, demonstrating improved fire safety characteristics..]This innovative approach holds promise for diverse applications across industries [۱-۳
