Optimal management of demand response programs by power aggregator with considering right of flexibility

In many countries, some sections of power grid infrastructure are worn out and under heavy load as demand increases. Upgrading the operation of power transmission line equipment also has many problems. One of the most common solutions for decreasing the congestion, is using demand response programs. In this project, the electricity consumption management of ۳۰۰ residential consumers in three different months has been studied. The time steps of ۱۵ minutes have been selected and the Ministry of Energy's ۱۴۰۰ tariff rate has been used. The purpose of implementing such an approach is to shift the load from peak hours to off-peak ones. In this regard, three operation modes (off, scheduling, immediately) for the use of household appliances are defined. Also, it is assumed that the customer can benefit a monthly income by presenting the right of flexibility to the power aggregator and with the help of this right, power aggregator can also manage the household consumption profile during peak-load hours. According to the obtained results, by managing the consumption of controllable equipments about ۴۲.۱% and ۲۱.۸% of electrical energy can be saved in peak-load duration and in total period, respectively
