چکیده مقاله:

Arch bridges are bridges that have piers at each end shaped like a curved arch. Arch bridgeswork by partially transferring the weight of the bridge and its loads to a horizontal thrustsupported by piers on either side. A passage (a long bridge) may be built through a seriesof arches. Arch bridges are one of the oldest types of bridges and have high naturalresistance. The weight of the Arch bridge is transferred to the outside along the curveof the arch, instead of pushing it down at each end. In recent years, pedestrian bridgeshave been used due to the ever-increasing traffic load and the resulting increase in roadwidth. and streets, there has been a considerable increase. Therefore, it is important toidentify the most suitable design according to the practical conditions. We know that inaddition to the dead load, unexpected loads are applied to the structure of a pedestrianbridge during the operation period, such as earthquake load, advertisement boards andfinally the additional load caused by accidents of various types of vehicles, which shouldbe considered in order to reduce the damage and optimize the design of this type ofstructures, more attention should be paid. In this research, the structural systems of thesetypes of bridges have been evaluated so that the most suitable system can be identifiedand used according to the type of load applied to the bridge structure. In this research, using the specialized software SAP۲۰۰۰, the arched metal pedestrian bridge has beeninvestigated based on the types of loading. The general results showed that the structuralsystems of conventional pedestrian bridges have sufficient capacity against static anddynamic loads. In contrast to dynamic loads, the arch system has the lowest vibrations.According to the criteria of beauty, stability, satisfaction of pedestrians and constructioncosts, the most suitable option among the structural systems of pedestrian bridges is thearch system .
