چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: The purpose of this study was the effect of short-term astaxanthin supplementation on total antioxidant capacity and serum malondialdehyde of inactive women after eccentric exercise. Alborz had no physical activity in the last six months and ۲۰ of these people were randomly selected. One week before the eccentric protocol, blood samples were taken from all the subjects. After determining a maximum repetition in two homogenized groups receiving astaxanthin supplement (۸ mg) and placebo (capsule ۷۰۰ mg), volunteer subjects consumed flavored dextrose for one week. After one week, blood was drawn again. blood was taken and then all people participated in the eccentric test and immediately after finishing the eccentric activity, blood was taken for the third time. Findings: The results showed that the levels of total antioxidant capacity had a significant effect (p<۰.۰۵), but Malone Serum dialdehyde did not have a significant effect (P>۰.۰۵). Conclusion: In the present study, it was proved that the use of astaxanthin supplements does not have a significant effect on the oxidant levels of inactive women.
