چکیده مقاله:

Background: The epidemic of COVID-۱۹ has a major impact on medical education. Maintaining the standard in medical education inside of new teaching methods and clinical learning in this pandemic revives the need to use online learning and e-learning. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to review the virtual reality (VR) application of clinical learning in the COVID-۱۹ pandemicMethods: Based on the interest in innovative education, this review focused on how clinical learning as a profession has adopted VR. Inclusion criteria for the review of abstracts included the specificity of clinical learning, the use of keywords related to virtual reality and computer simulation. The paper's databases were PubMed, Medline, and Web of Science. Results: VR has improved knowledge more effectively than control situations. Virtual simulation medical teaching has been shown to be higher than traditional clinical teaching. Educators were able to deliver simulated clinical experiences to more students in less time through the integration of VR. There is a lot of variation in how VR’s used and defined for educational purposes. Some of them were created in terms of offering an immersive experience to learn complicated skills, such as auscultation, or to build empathy through simulating dementia. Conclusion: This pandemic made a new situation for educational status significantly in clinical training. As a result, the use of VR simulations has increased. VR can be seen as complementary to other simulation methods to improve the quality and safety of clinical practice and make it more efficient and attractive. It is important to note that virtual medical education based on simulation has been discovered. Generally, by considering the positive points of VR, the educators and the administrations of medical universities should pay far more attention and invest more in the products needed to maintain more skilled training.
