چکیده مقاله:

The present study aimed at investigating the relationship between emotional intelligence and managers' managerial style according to Crown's emotional intelligence model (۲۰۰۷) and Hersey-Blanchard situational management model (۱۹۹۸), at Payam Noor Universities of Hamadan province. This research study was a descriptive survey in which the statistical population included ۸۳university managers, selected based on stratified random sampling from among managers at Hamadan PNU universities. Crown's Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (۲۰۰۷) and management style Inventory were used for data collection purpose; Cronbach's Coefficient Alpha was applied to prove the reliability of the questionnaires whose validity of the instruments was finally confirmed; and Correlation test was used to analyze the data. The findings showed that there is a significant relationship between the emotional intelligence and the style of managers' management. Moreover, significantly positive correlation was observed between the emotional intelligence sub scales, including self-consciousness, management of emotions, empathy and social skills, and the management style of managers
