This study aimed to evaluate the contamination of chicken, turkey and ostrich with Campylobacter jejuni and Campylobacter coli in some cities of Isfahan province. ۳۶۰ samples of ۳۶۰ poultry including chicken, turkey and ostrich were randomly sampled by rectal swab method in some cities of Isfahan province. After culturing the samples in a specific culture medium and incubation, multiplex PCR method was used for final confirmation. The general results of the investigation of the percentage of Campylobacter jejuni infection in Isfahan province showed that the highest infection rate in turkey was ۲۵.۸۳% by culture method and ۲۰.۹% by PCR method, and a statistically significant difference was observed between the methods in terms of the amount of contamination(p<۰.۰۱). The overall results of the investigation of Campylobacter coli contamination in Isfahan province showed that the highest contamination rate of turkey was ۱۱.۷% in the culture method and ۶.۷% in the PCR method, and a statistically significant difference was observed between the two methods in terms of the contamination percentage (p<۰.۰۵). The results of this study showed the level of campylobacter infection in some cities of Isfahan province were different.
