چکیده مقاله:

Purpose: Artificial intelligence (AI) can enhance efficiency and facilitate complicated tasks inmedical education. Despite the growing applications of AI in learning, instruction, and assessment, further research is required, this research was conducted with the aim of psychometricanalysis the attitude of medical students towards the use of Artificial Intelligence in medical education.Materials and methods: The present study is descriptive research. A quantitative and qualitativecontent and face validity were conducted. In order to measure the internal consistency of theinstrument, after distributing the questionnaire among ۳۰ medical students, Cronbach’s alphacoefficient was determined. For the reproducibility of the instrument, the test retest and correlationcoefficients were used. The Intraclass Correlation Coefficients was measured by distributingquestionnaires among ۳۵ medical students eligible to participate in the study. Results: The initial instrument version had ۳۲ items. At the face and content validity stage, ۵items were removed. Interclass correlation coefficients and Cronbach’s alpha were ۰.۶۲ and ۰.۹۵,respectively.Conclusion: The findings of this study show that the ۲۷-question instrument designed with a fivepointLikert response scale can be used as a valid and reliable tool to evaluate medical students’attitude regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence in medical education.
