Technology in Teaching Writing

Presently, teachers can take advantage of technology in their classrooms in a variety of ways. Technology can make learning more tangible than it used to be because it exposes students to real material and allows them to see and hear authentic input through the use of technology. It also makes it easier for teachers to monitor and assess students. Technology also provides a good platform for teaching and learning writing. It is helpful for students with disabilities and provides many opportunities for all students. It can support students in three phases of writing: Planning and organizing, copying, and also editing and revising. For each phase, there are many apps and websites to help teachers and students teach and learn.
