چکیده مقاله:
Introduction and objectives: The goal of dental prostheses is to replace lost teeth and restore the appearance and oral functions of patients. Artificial intelligence can design dental prostheses automatically after learning the characteristics of the remaining teeth. The aim of this study is to review artificial intelligence studies in dental prostheses .method: In ۲۰۲۲, the Rapid Review approach, an emerging type of knowledge synthesis, was used in response to requests for information from policy makers. MEDLINE from ۲۰۰۳ to ۲۰۲۲ was searched using relevant search terms to answer the stated objective through rapid review of electronic databases and gray studies. Finally, this search was completed with a general search of the Internet and Internet databases and online libraries and a search focused on key authors .Results: In total, out of ۳۶۵ studies, ۵۱ studies were examined: ۸۰% of the studies were original studies and ۲۰% were reviews of sources. The results of the studies indicate that dental prostheses and restorations with metallic colors can be recognized and predicted with high accuracy using deep learning in the context of artificial intelligence. Also, the latest advances in artificial intelligence in dental prostheses are used in areas such as automatic diagnosis, predictive measure, classification, or identification tools. Artificial intelligence technologies will likely collect, process, and organize patient-related data sets to provide patient-centered and individualized prosthetic treatments. The strengths of artificial intelligence in this area include the use of ۳D printing as a versatile technique that allows the creation of fully automated and customized treatment plans, and using this technology, highly efficient, repeatable, fast personalized dental prostheses and provides accurately a cost-effective way.Conclusion: The use of artificial intelligence in the field of dental prostheses is expanding and promises wider access to services in this field. With sufficient training, artificial intelligence may perform tasks that required human intelligence in the past, and in relation to this issue, artificial intelligence may help design dental prostheses and be a turning point in treatment with the help of dental prostheses .
