A review on Integration of Domains Information Systems and MCDM to Clarifying Research Gaps

The limitations and weaknesses of decision-making still exist in managementinformation systems (MIS). The MIS progress relies on identifying its limitations andweaknesses, which can improve productivity in an organization. Addressing the use ofmulti-criteria decision-making approaches is one of the topics that make thedevelopment of information systems stable and widens the scope of their application.This article reviews the literature of this field to thoroughly examine the subject withrelated domestic and foreign articles and studies. This study aims to find the researchgaps resulting from the integration of information systems and multi-criteria decisionmaking,which is for researchers to address gaps and the ways of improvement in theirresearch. As the result of this research, it’s understood that a lack of integration inMCDM and IS existence shapes the main obstacles to decision-makers in anorganization.
