چکیده مقاله:

Oil and gas transmission lines are the main arteries of various industries, such as the oil, gas, and petrochemical industry. The correct location of these lines requires detailed investigations so that a low-cost yet efficient route can be designed for the transmission lines. This study uses a multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) approach to design oil and gas transmission lines in Jaizan, Omidiye county, Khuzestan province. The analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method was implemented for different weighting criteria based on experts' opinions. Also, average and Dempster-Shafer methods have been used to combine the weights. To combine the different layers to prepare the cost map, the weighted overlay technique was used, and then it was transferred between the different design stations of the route. Based on the obtained results, the average path method has a shorter length compared to the current path, and the Dempster-Shafer method has a path with a longer length, which is due to the way the weights are combined so that the effect of some layers in the consolidation process is reduced. And on the other hand, some layers, such as the slope, gained a greater weight, which, as a result, has followed for a longer.
