چکیده مقاله:

Wetlands have a regional and worldwide impact on ecological diversity and environmental sustainability, particularly for species that are indigested. They are one of the most plentiful ecosystems in terms of fauna and flora which protected under RAMSAR convention. In recent decades, human encroachment, reclamation of encroachment land, urban expansion, and unproportioned and abrupt shifts in human activity like in the tourist season and global warming have all posed threats to coastal wetland, necessitating further exploration in terms of multifaceted risk assessment to find reliable, preventive and mitigating measures. These measures typically involve competing and incompatible standards, requiring specialized techniques. The proposed integrated risk assessment framework and the spatial data gathered for the research area were used in the current study to investigate the condition of the Goksu Delta and the effectiveness of the current conservation status. Despite being designated as protected areas under the Ramsar convention, the research employing an integrated fuzzy analytical hierarchy process and geographic information system found that the region's natural ecosystems were liable to varied levels of deterioration.
