The relationship between innovation-oriented and efficiency-oriented business models in manufacturing industries

Research of management focuses on the importance of the role models from business on improving organizational performance. In recent years, we have been more competitive business in the various industries. According to researchers in the fields of business, achieving a competitive position for the company, only with the help of a proper business model possible.A successful business model represents a better way than the options available that can offer greater value to a distinct group of customers and returned greater benefits to the company. Since very little theoretical and empirical have been studied on the factors affecting the performance of companies in the manufacturing sector, In this study, the relationship between innovation-oriented and efficiency-oriented business models in manufacturing industries have been investigated in the food and metal industries in the active companies. The data through questionnaires from ۱۵۱ companies in the food and metal industries have been collected in Iran. The research methodology employed in this study is the Pearson correlation coefficient.
