Today, the world population is increasing and the overall quantity of natural resources is decreasing. therefore, Architecture has a major role in the issue of conservation natural environments. building siting and design directly and indirectly affect environmental quality. Although much progress has been made, it is still necessary to pay more attention to energy and resource efficiency in the construction and operation of buildings. This can be achieved by designing, to minimize the use of land, conserve heat in winter and cool in summer, reduce emissions of pollutants, and naturalize the landscaping. The purpose of this article, is the Importance of ecological design in architecture to create symbiosis between buildings and natural environments. Ecological design is an integrative ecologically responsible design discipline and intended to conserve ecological integrity, while allowing ecosystems to provide sustainable flows of resources and to maintain critical services required by the human economy and contribute to the wise use of natural resources and the conservation of natural habitats. therefore, ecological design seeks to provide a framework for an environmentally appropriate system of design and management by incorporating both anthropogenic and ecological values, at relevant spatial and temporal scales. finally, the buildings which design according to Ecological, they have significant impacts on the environment, human health, and community quality of life.
