چکیده مقاله:

The main purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of yoga and Pilates exercises on the static balance of the elderly in the Covid-۱۹ pandemic situation. The present study was a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest design with a control group and In terms of purpose, it was practical. The statistical population was all elderly women in Yazd. A statistical sample was prepared by referring to the nursing and welfare centers and a list of the elderly (over ۶۰ years old) in Yazd city, and those who wished to participate in the research in a targeted and accessible way, based on G-Power software in ۳ groups of ۱۲ people training group of yoga, Pilates and the control group were included. The independent variable of yoga and Pilates exercises was the dependent variable of static balance. Measurement tools included a consent form, force plate device. After obtaining the code of ethics with the ID (IR.UT.SPORT.REC.۱۴۰۰.۰۴۴), both experimental groups performed their exercises to conduct research. One-way maneuver and paired t-test were used to analyze the data and LSD post hoc tests were used to see the differences between the groups. Data analysis was performed at a significant level (P <۰.۰۵) using SPSS ۲۶ software. Findings showed that there is a significant difference between the research groups in all variables related to static balance except right standing (anterior-posterior) standing and left standing (general) standing balance in the post-test. The LSD post hoc test was used. The results showed that in the static balance variable in the post-test, the Pilates exercise group recorded the best performance. Yoga after the pot-test has a better static balance than the pre-test. But in the control group, no significant change was seen from pre-test to post-test. Discussion and In a general conclusion based on the results of our research, we can say that Pilates exercises can be more useful in the Covid-۱۹ pandemic situation.
