چکیده مقاله:

Shoulder impingement syndrome (SIS) is more common and is the most common cause for pain and stiffness in the shoulder area. The study purpose was to investigate The Effect of Biofeedback Training On Range of Motion, Pain in People with Shoulder Impingement Syndrome. In the present study, ۲۰ subjects with shoulder impingement syndrome with an age range of ۲۰ to ۴۰ years were selected as the statistical sample of this study and were divided into experimental (n = ۱۰) and control (n = ۱۰) groups. The experimental group was performed using EMG biofeedback for ۸ weeks and ۳ training sessions per week. The control group was used only for pre test and post test measurements. To collect data from the visual analog scale (VAS) to assess pain, from the goniometer to assess range of motion (external rotation and Internal rotation) For data normality, Shapiro-Wilk test was used, for comparison of pre-test and post-test, analysis of covariance test and correlated t-test were used to examine within-group changes. In this study, after ۸ weeks of biofeedback training in the experimental group, there was a significant improvement in the amount of pain (F = ۰.۰۰۰) and range of motion (internal rotation (F = ۰.۰۰۰) and external rotation (F = ۰.۰۰۰)) was found in the experimental group compared to the pretest and also in the control group (۰.۰۵)The present study showed that biofeedback exercises are effective in creating balance and improving range of motion, as well as reducing pain in people with shoulder impingement syndrome.
